What a brilliant day of action at Newbury on Saturday. Sadly our one selection finished just out of the frame, The Betchworth Kid (1pt), in the 2.00. Advised at 9/2, he went off at the same price and ran pretty well, but finished just out of the frame.

All this cold weather, and meetings being abandoned, means it looks all but certain that November will end in a loss, which is very frustrating but brighter times are surely just around the corner!
