Capitol Gain (11/2sp) was quite slowly into stride and hustled up to race prominently. He didn't handle the turn-in well and was soon being bustled along to keep up and ended up fading disappointingly out of contention.
Much better was from Thecornishcowboy (9/2sp), who traded at 1.6 as he came with what looked a promising run coming into the closing stages, but he just couldn't quicken well enough close home and went down in third, beaten around a length.

Thecornishcowboy, 3rd/12, 5/1 --- 9/2
Last Wednesday we had a cracking 11/1 winner, we'll be doing our best to find something similar tomorrow.
