Sympathies to Darlan connections

No return yesterday from our one selection on a day which was overshadowed by the tragic death of the very promising Darlan after he fell at the last. AP McCoy gave up his remaining rides in the wake of Darlan's loss and everyone with an interest in racing will want to extend sympathy to JP McManus, Nicky Henderson and the rest of the team behind the horse.

Netminder, ran well for a time before fading to finish a very poor fourth after going off at 4-1.

Some better news from one of our “of interest” runners as Be My Deputy was in the first two throughout and won well at 9-2.
