Not a good run we're on at the moment, which at least means we're normally due a winner or two, so let's hope they come along soon. Not a great deal to say about our most recent runners.

The rain had really got into the ground by the time of Free Art's (11/4sp) race, which had forced a lot of non-runners. He was held up off the pace and just never could get into it.

Boudicca went off at 7/1 but weakened some way from home

Steel Rain couldn't quicken when he needed to, although wasn't helped by being a little short of room when trying to improve, not that it's likely to have made much difference. He went off at 5/1.

Schumpters Lad (15/2sp) was the second selection in recent days to be unseated after being hampered at the second fence.
