Roll on the weekend!

A pretty quiet end to the week, with Thursday's selection being withdrawn, and then just a couple today, both which ran well but neither winning.

Yesterday we had:

Who was withdrawn before the race.

Then today we had:

2.10 Warwick Chicklemix 1pt 7-1 VC Bet, Betfred

3.50 Warwick Lavenoak Lad 1pt 8-1 Coral, W Hill

Both were right up there throughout.

Chicklemix ran well, but was just a tad one paced when push came to shove, and could only manage third, beaten a couple of lengths, after starting at 10/1

Then veteran stayer Lavenoak Lad was leading going over the last, trading at 1.35 in running, but he just couldn't quite see things out in the finish, and eventually got swamped by the first three, ending out of the frame back in fourth, after going off at 10/1.
