Hitting the post

3/3 so far this month for our selections in shortening up nicely, 3/3 getting placed, sadly 0/3 finishing in front, but it'll come.

Crazy Bold went off a well supported 9/2 shot and ran well, staying on nicely in the end after being a tad outpaced, but sadly eight lengths behind the winner.

Brockfield put in a very game effort over a C&D he enjoys and with conditions to suit. Out in front going into the final furlong or so, he was just outstayed in the end, after going as short as 1.40 in running. He went off a very nicely backed 7/2.
