No return today, but we went close with Kap West who ran well at Taunton but just ran into one well handicapped rival.

Kap West raced prominently and looked to hold every chance for a good while, but in the closing stages it began to become clear that he was likely going to be battling it out for second as the leader skipped clear. So it proved, with Laura Young's 7yo finishing runner-up, beaten just short of ten lengths. A good run but not to be, after he started at 4/1.

Not so good from Ski Sunday, who drifted to 16/1 and ran accordingly, well beaten from a long way out.
