Smarty Socks' terrific win at Doncaster made it three winning days out of a three with a nice five point profit in total.
Bid For Gold was only beaten around two lengths in all, staying on quite well at the finish. Smarty Socks was always travelling well in the 4.00, and then quickened nicely close to home. Nolecce was a non runner.
