A day which profits perhaps got away. Spirit is Needed was bumped inside the final furlong to finish third of Mark Johnstone's three in the frame. Ironically a recent selection here, Yorgunnabelucky, won at 9/1 sp.
Geojimali had a peculiar race, really badly hampered at the start, losing about ten lengths and then ridden very tenderly afterwards, before quickening up to stay on really well at the end, going down by about three lengths, with plenty of horses in front of him. Possibly one for the notebook. Anyway it all ended with two points lost on the day.
