Banging on the door

We almost had a very nice boost going into the weekend tonight, Lesley's Choice, advised at 16/1 this morning (25/1 in a place) running a cracker in the last at Hamilton. We've had three big priced 2pt selections placed this month, one of them will come in again soon enough!

We had:

9.00 Ham Lesley's Choice 2pts 16-1 general, some 25s at B365

Ferruccio got very agitated in the stalls, and completely blew the start, but ran on really nicely and wasn't beaten that far in the end, after starting at 8/1.

Fantasy Explorer also ran well and was possibly a bit unlucky, just starting to really pick up, he was checked in running at a crucial stage and lost his chance, after going off at 8s.

Then came the very well supported Lesley's Choice. 25/1 was available for a few minutes after the email went out but we'll mark up as a 16/1 shot for us. Either way, terrific value was had as he was backed right down to 13/2 at the off. No excuses here, a good start, grabbed a place near the rail and was always there or thereabouts. Just for a moment it looked like he might pick up about half a furlong from home and get there but his run just flattened out, beaten less than two lengths, and well clear of fourth.
