Rough week!

This has been a rough week, no getting away from it! The usual collection of second placed finishes, which has been a theme this month, but also some really disappointing performances as well.

Today we had four selections:

After being well backed this morning Raifteiri went off at 9/1 and dropped away a long way from home.

Sam Hall was pretty weak on course, although was supported again into 10/1 before the off, but never looked like getting involved.

Old Way went off at 5/1 and ran ok for a while, but soon dropped away at the business end.

So we were left with Amirico (SP 5/1) to see if the day could be spun around into profit, and despite hitting a flat spot he stayed on strongly to finish second, our 15th of the month (that's the record broken!), although he was never going to get the well-handicapped winner.

A couple of meetings tomorrow have inspections in the morning, fingers crossed all will be ok and we can really get back on track!
