Four today

Quite a few horses being backed today, understandably, given it's a busy bank holiday Monday.

But four in particular of interest here so it's good luck to:

Sallys Swansong Redcar 14:00 10/1 ladbrokes

Born To Perform Redcar 14:35 9/1 ladbrokes

Star Addition Redcar 15:45 14/1 skybet

Alfadora Huntingdon 15:55 8/1 ladbrokes

A bit unlucky not to get a return today, with Born To Perform apparently absolutely cruising and trading at 1.10 in running before being beaten a head. I didn't see the race myself but I know the jock Robert Winston's come in for a bit of stick. Elsewhere Sallys Swansong lost realistic chance with a slow start before finishing strongly to deadheat in third. Star Addition and Alfadora didn't do a lot.
