Another BRILLIANT day!
Another superb Saturday for us, with 22pts of profit from our 3pts staked with a brilliantly gutsy performance from Kempski at the veteran's favourite track.
February was a great month, but March is on its way to being even better.
5.15 Chepstow Amble Forge 1pt 6/1 Bet365/VC/General BOG
Appleaday was supported into 9/2 at the off, and ran well, just not able to go with the winner and he ended up finishing second.
Then came Kempski, who loves Ayr and was very nicely backed down to 7/1 at the off. He came under pressure in the heavy ground some way out and looked a bit like a sitting duck, but one by one he beat the challengers off, including Circus Clown, who was looking for his third win in a row. A really gutsy performance for his sixth win at the track, and gave us 24pts of profit.
Finally, Amble Forge also ran quite nicely, despite drifting to 8s pre off. He looked quite a danger at one stage, moving up to challenge, but he wasn't able to quicken and ended up finishing just out of the frame in fourth.
