After yesterday's great success, no such luck with our two point selection today. Although we got terrific value, with Patrixtoo going off half the price we had, the run didn't really warrant the support. However we had a better effort from him than Gouranga who put in no sort of performance at all.
So we had:

Almost immediately from the off Gouranga, after starting at 10/1, was having to be urged along, and soon found herself detached. She was then taken out of contention by being hampered by a loose horse and promptly pulled up.
Patrixtoo was very well supported all the way down to 6/1 for his first race for about ten months. Just for a moment it looked like he may begin to pick them off, about four out, but then he clattered a hurdle and he immediately came under pressure and ended well beaten.
So three points lost, but still some 31pts of profit this weekend from our five selections, so plenty still to be cheerful about going into the working week!
