Back in business!

A really excellent day today, with two winners from two, and even better returns than anticipated thanks to best odds guaranteed.

Both were at Towcester:

And both selections won really quite easily, terrific stuff.

Meridiem went on an almighty drift after we put him up this morning at 8/1, with layers on the exchanges pushing him right out to well over double those odds. One or two others were fancied, but certainly the vibes weren't great about Sean Regan's 7yo. We needn't have worried though, he jumped well throughout, and was always travelling strongly, and when he was asked to go and win his race he duly did so, great stuff, and at odds of 14/1 SP (we almost got 16s), we had a cracking start to the day.

Next up, Jolly Boys Outing had been all the rage in the morning, and we got on board at 9/1, again with Bet365 offering best odds guaranteed. Another drifter, he was pushed out to 10/1 at the off (after touching 11/1 for a time), and he recorded a wonderfully smooth success, travelling well and powering home, despite jumping a bit erratically in the closing stages.

So a lovely 24pts of profit today, which bring March back to 59pts up, just what the doctor ordered.

There's just the one jumps meeting tomorrow, at Taunton, and it'll be interesting to see if we have any further opportunities to kick on, let's hope so.
