Let's start yesterday where we had:
TIME COURSE SELECTION 1pt/2pt win Bookmaker(s) / Price(s)
2.15 Yarm Levi Draper 1pt 5-1 general (6s Lads BOG)
3.00 Muss Rosies Lady 1pt 11-2 general (6-1 W Hill, VC, Boyle BOG)
7.10 Bang Lord Jay Jay 1pt 8-1+general (9s Boyle, VC, P Power. 10-1 Lads BOG)
Levi Draper and Rosies Lady both were soundly beaten, but we got a much better tune out of Lord Jay Jay who ran a cracking race for a long time, trading at odds on for a while, before just tiring a little at the end, to finish second.
TIME COURSE SELECTION 1pt/2pt win Bookmaker(s) / Price(s)
2.20 Worcester Gallimaufry 1pt 5/1+ generally inc. 6/1 Lads/Tote/Betfred/SJ
4.20 Worcester Grovemere 1pt 11/2+ generally inc. 6/1 Hills/PP/SJ 13/2 Coral 7/1 Lads
Gallimaufry was heavily supported into 100/30, and came with a surging late run, but could only finish third.
Grovemere was also placed, after going off at 6/1. Ridden along for much of the race, he also picked up late, but was never really going to get there.
Confirmation of results with prices (advised --- SP):
Tuesday 19th July 2011
Levi Draper, 4th/4, 5/1 --- 7/1
Rosies Lady, 3rd/7, 11/2 --- 7/1
Lord Jay Jay, 2nd/7, 9/1 --- 8/1
Wednesday 20th July 2011
Gallimaufry, 3rd/11, 5/1 --- 100/30
Grovemere, 3rd/16, 6/1 --- 6/1
So three placed efforts in a row, we're getting closer to spinning things around for July, it won't take much, and let's hope it happens tomorrow.
